The Phantom Trunks style swimsuit is the style of choice amongst age group/open swimmers. Trunks are similar to briefs, however have much wider sides. Trunks have a drawstring cord to ensure they don't fall down when diving in or training. They are considered to be a little retro and uber cool amongst young athletes! The trunk style is also appealing to senior and recreational swimmers as they provide more coverage when swimming.

Pacer Chlorine Resistant Swimwear Fabric

The Phantom Trunks is made from chlorine resistant swimwear fabric called Pacer. Pacer by Maru Swimwear is a chlorine resistant fabric which has been specifically designed for endurance. The fabric has two-way stretch but has less stretch than traditional Lycra swimsuits. The fabric has excellent chlorine resistance and is therefore a great choice for those people who spend hours training in chlorinated swimming pools. While there is nothing technically slow about this swimsuit, the fabric is not considered to be ideal for racing. Pacer is made from 53% Polyester / 47% PBT. PBT is simply texturized polyester with natural stretch similar to spandex.

Draw String Waist

The draw string waist is fully adjustable allowing you to tighten the garment for a secure fit. The drawstring waist prevents the garment from falling down when diving in the pool.

Standard Sizing

The sizing on the Phantom Trunks is in line with the leading brands. For example, if you normally wear a Speedo Swimsuit Size 10, we recommend purchasing the Phantom Trunks Size 10.

Feel free to try on your swimsuit when you receive it, and if it doesn't fit you may exchange or return it for a different size.

How to take your measurements

Please look at the size charts above to determine what measurements you will need to take in order to determine your size for the Phantom Trunks.

CHEST measure beginning under your arm, over the fullest part of your chest/bust and around your back to the starting point under your arm.

WAIST bend to one side to find the crease of your natural waist. Stand straight. For female suits, measure around your natural waist making sure to allow one finger between your body and the tape. For male suits, measure 1" (2.5cm) below natural waist or just above the hip bone (where you would normally wear your swimsuit).

HIPS stand straight and find the top of your hip bone. Measure around your hips making sure you keep the tape on the top of your hip bone.

TORSO place beginning of tape measure on your shoulder at your neck. Run tape measure over the fullest portion of your bust down between your legs and up your back to the starting point on your shoulder.
