The Polka Hearts Chlorine Resistant Freeback style swimsuit has wide straps which join a wide back band, slightly lower down the back. The seam on this swimsuit join in together in the bottom back. This style provide great coverage with the small open back and medium leg height. This style has been specifically designed for women, so there is more room across the chest and shoulders. This is a great style for women and junior/senior swimmers who have the typical swimmers body, broad shoulders and narrow hips.

Speedline Chlorine Resistant Swimwear Fabric

The Polka Hearts Chlorine Resistant is made from chlorine resistant swimwear fabric called Speedline. Speedline has been specifically designed for strength and endurance. The fabric has two-way stretch but has less stretch than traditional Lycra swimsuits. The fabric has excellent chlorine resistance and is therefore a great choice for those people who spend hours training in chlorinated swimming pools. Speedline has a shiny appearance, is smooth to touch and slides through the water. While there is nothing technically slow about this swimsuit, the fabric is not considered to be ideal for racing. Speedline is made from 45% Polyester / 55% PBT. PBT is simply texturized polyester with natural stretch similar to spandex.

How to take your measurements

Please look at the size charts above to determine what measurements you will need to take in order to determine your size for the Polka Hearts Chlorine Resistant.

CHEST measure beginning under your arm, over the fullest part of your chest/bust and around your back to the starting point under your arm.

WAIST bend to one side to find the crease of your natural waist. Stand straight. For female suits, measure around your natural waist making sure to allow one finger between your body and the tape. For male suits, measure 1" (2.5cm) below natural waist or just above the hip bone (where you would normally wear your swimsuit).

HIPS stand straight and find the top of your hip bone. Measure around your hips making sure you keep the tape on the top of your hip bone.

TORSO place beginning of tape measure on your shoulder at your neck. Run tape measure over the fullest portion of your bust down between your legs and up your back to the starting point on your shoulder.
