FINA Approved Swimsuit

The Flames Jammers has been officially approved by FINA for National and International Swimming Competitions. Most (although not all) FINA Approved racing swimsuits have a unique FINA barcode printed on the back of the swimsuit, making it easily identifiable to swimming officials.

FINA (Federation Internationale De Natation) is the international governing body for pool and open water swimming, diving, water polo, masters swimming, and synchronized swimming.

Streamline Swimwear Fabric

The Flames Jammers is made from a high tech swimwear fabric called Streamline. Streamline is an advanced material that has been designed to reduce drag by its water repellent resin stripes. The resin stripes theoretically enhance how the fabric slides through the water. The Streamline fabric is sleek and smooth to touch and in this respect are very similar to traditional Lycra® fabric. Streamline is similar in appearance to Speedos Aquablade material. Streamline is made from 87% Polyester / 13% Lycra and weighs 240 grams per square meter.

Agon Jammers

The Flames Jammers Jammers are a popular style choice amongst competitive swimmers. Jammers sit on the hips and extend down to the knee. They have a hidden drawstring cord that prevents the swimsuit from falling down when swimming or diving.

How to take your measurements

WAIST bend to one side to find the crease of your waist. Stand straight. For the Flames Jammers, measure 1" (2.5cm) below waist or just above the hip bone (where you would normally wear your swimsuit).
