Streamline Competition Swimwear Fabric

The Flames Jammers is made from a high tech swimwear fabric called Streamline. Streamline is an advanced material that has been designed to reduce drag by its water repellent resin stripes. The resin stripes theoretically enhance how the fabric slides through the water. The Streamline fabric is sleek and smooth to touch and in this respect are very similar to traditional Lycra® fabric. Streamline is similar in appearance to Speedos Aquablade material. Streamline is made from 87% Polyester / 13% Lycra and weighs 240 grams per square meter.

Jammers

The Flames Jammers Jammers are a popular style choice amongst competitive swimmers. Jammers sit on the hips and extend down to the knee. They have a hidden drawstring cord that prevents the swimsuit from falling down when swimming or diving.

Should you undersize your racing swimsuit?

We do not recommend undersizing your racing swimsuit, as this has already been taken into account when manufacturing. Undersizing will shorten the life of the swimsuit due to the intense pulling at the seams and added stretch to the high tech fabric.

How to take your measurements

CHEST measure under your arm, around the fullest part of your chest and around your back to the starting point under your arm. Please note, there is no Chest measurement required for the Agon Racing Jammers.

WAIST bend to one side to find the crease of your waist. Stand straight. For female suits, measure around your waist allowing one finger between your body and the tape. For male suits, measure 1" (2.5cm) below waist or just above the hip bone (where you would normally wear your swimsuit).

HIPS stand straight, find the top of your hip bone. Measure around your hips, keeping the tape on the top of your hip bone. Please note. there is no Hip measurement required for the Agon Racing Jammers.

TORSO run tape measure over the fullest portion of your bust, down between your legs and up your back to your shoulder. Please note, there is no Torso measurement required for the Agon Racing Jammers.
