Matthew Mitchham Age: 24 Sport: Diving Club: Abbotsleigh Aquatic Centre (NSW, Australia) Biggest Career Highlight: Winning Gold for Australia at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games with the highest scoring dive in Olympic history. This being his first Olympic Games. Other Highlights: Mitcham also won bronze at the 2009 World Championships in Rome for the 1m Springboard, and four silvers for various events at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi. 2012 London Olympic: Matthew dived well coming 9th is the Men's 10m Platform Preliminary and 13th in the Men's 10m Platform Semifinal |

Other Highlights: Winning the 5km National Open Water title in 2012, Winning the 1500m at the Commonwealth Youth Games in 2011. 2012 London Olympic: The first time Olympian did his best in the Men's 1500m Freestyle Heat 4 coming 7th. |
