Speedline is a chlorine resistant swimwear fabric. Speedline has been specifically designed for strength & endurance. The fabric has two-way stretch but has less stretch than traditional Lycra swimsuits. The fabric has excellent chlorine resistance & is therefore a great choice for those people who spend hours training in chlorinated swimming pools. Speedline has a shiny appearance, is smooth to touch & slides through the water. While there is nothing technically slow about this swimsuit, the fabric is not considered to be ideal for racing. Speedline is made from 45% Polyester / 55% PBT. PBT is simply texturized polyester with natural stretch similar to spandex.
